Character Information Character Name: Aqua Age: Hard to say, as she has the memories of multiple lives in her. Estimating to mid twenties for practical purposes. Canon: Kingdom Hearts + CRAU Canon Point: End of Birth By Sleep-ish, but she knows about things from the end of III Gender: Female
Character History Character History:Wiki with history section How she differed in X How she grew from X. RC and beyond: Aqua was often at loose ends in Ruby City. Even after she came to terms with it being real and not a psychic trick to keep her off the final mission. When she first arrived, it was a little after she had left, though she had no memory of ever having been there before. She was brought into the fold of the other her's life with Henry Mills, his grandfather, and his father who was somehow younger than him. They treated her like part of the family, but she didn't know them or the family at all. She did her best. But Henry had a Keyblade, and he was the first person she'd met that wasn't from the Isle Of Departure that had one.
Mickey was the big surprise though. Someone else who knew her that she didn't recall - and she was sure that she'd recall someone like him. But he also had a Keyblade and when she touched his Keyblade... Memories rushed her. Memories of another her and him. Across multiple worlds. A concept she was still getting used to. The memories shook her and she wasn't sure what to make of them.
Then one day she and Mickey found a child who had been brought to the City without friends or family. the two of them took her in and chose a large house, determined to take in all the children of the City. But as it turned out... most of the kids didn't actually want their help.
Over time, Mickey and the Golds all wound up boarding the train and returning home. Before long, she was alone. She had a few friends but no one close. She had no real direction, no idea what to do with herself, and the big house didn't help, especially when the garden slept under snow.
There were occasional missions, things the people of the City were asked to do. She threw herself into these. The problem came with one other person specifically. Kyrian. He hated her. Oh not at first. But he was very.... odd about how things should be done. Specifically by what things should be done only by males. Given he was a vampire he could only go out by night. He got injured and didn't forgive her for healing him. He was even more angry when she went out and finished the mission while he slept.
There were other things of note, of course. The Fourth Wall events - not that she knew what those were - were huge for her. Because in them she met another Terra, and another of herself. And touching their Keyblades gave her... memories of her time with them. Or rather, another her's times with them.
She had no memory of leaving. But she was then falling. Falling down and down and down into canon. into the Darkness.
It was a nightmare time for her. She wasn't sure if it had been hours, or days, or... years. There were too many battles to count. When she was at her lowest, though, like twin bursts of light, Ven and Terra's Keyblades appeared and helped. But only at her lowest. Things were hard. Dark. Bad.
And then she was back in the City. And the world was dying around her. Her first glance of true Light in longer than she could recall, and it was killing the world around her, and anyone who remained in it. So of course the first person she encountered... was Kyrian. He wouldn't risk the light that led to other worlds, accepting that it was his fate to die in the City rather than try for a new life. She argued with him, but somewhere along the way... what little was left of her broke. She couldn't leave without him, couldn't live with herself if her life was at the expense of leaving his to end. But even if she could physically force him - and she couldn't - she wouldn't do that to someone else. If his fears were right, she would have just gotten them both killed some other way.
So for the first time in her life, in any of her lives, Aqua stopped fighting. She gave in, gave up, and when the world ended, so did her life. Aqua had died.
She didn't expect to ever open her eyes again, but she did.
She came to in a place called Shibuya, all the different selves swirled within her and she didn't know what was real, of she was real. She was sure she couldn't do anything, at the least. But... Link needed her. Link who reminded her so much of Ven. Link who not only needed her help but wanted it. Working with him she came to find the core of her self again, as all her selves shared in common all that mattered. They went through the Reaper's Game and made a number of friends, and.... lost a number of friends. At the end they won the game, but as games in Shibyua go, there was a catch. Only one could win and come back to life. Aqua was chosen.
Coming back to life, Aqua found herself in the Darkness once more. She built what she needed, she kept a core of determination within her. When she was ready, she trusted in her own heart and used it to bring her to the hearts connected to her own. she found Ven and managed to Awaken him. Together they found Terra. The three reconnected. She touched their Keyblades and absorbed their joined memories. She filled them in and the three agreed to travel, as living people, to Shibuya, to save Link and Rhyme.
She thought, leaving Shibuya, that she and her friends would have more time together, She didn't expect to fall through a magic mirror into yet another world....
Character Motivation: Aqua is driven by a need to help others. It was why she wanted to be a Master. It is what drove her since becoming a Master. That... and finding her friends. Across most of her memories. Now however, she would know they are safe. And that even though they are apart, they are connected and will always ALWAYS find each other again. So her focus will be on helping others. On protecting this world and through it, all the worlds. She is also always going to be working on her Mastery, never being fully certain that she completely earned it. Especially with her fear of heights and how she broke when the world did, in Ruby City.
Personality:
Aqua is a strong woman who does not rest on her laurels. She works hard, even after she gains her Master, and she loves to both teach as well as learn. She loves to help others, and is learning the hard way that sometimes that means letting them stand and be strong, rather than doing things for them. It has been a hard lesson. Still, it is one she is working to learn. While she knows that enough of her is the same between all the memories, part of her still tries to figure out if the lives are separate, or all somehow her. If they are seperated, were the other versions of her friends all real? Or were they all part of the friends she had reunited with and they simply need to be awakened? So she is interested in magic now from other worlds, and learning all sorts of interesting things.
Aqua can be stubborn at times, but usually for what seem to be the best of intentions, for the good of others. It does not always turn out to be a good thing. She will give up her life - again - if needed to protect someone. She'll try not to do it when it would make things worse, of course. But like everyone, she sometimes fails. But she no longer sees every failure as THE failure. She's learned how to recover, how to grow stronger from weakness, how to move forward when she falls back.
Aqua is kind, and open hearted. She wants to trust, to love. She makes friends quickly and she is true to those in her heart. She wants to be of help, of use, and she wants to protect not just her friends and her students, but everyone and anyone who needs her. Even if they hate her, even if they don't want help. Even if helping them costs her personally.
Generally, now that she knows her friends are safe, she will come across as upbeat over a core of seriousness. She will happily offer to help others teach, though she knows how very much she still has to learn herself. But she understands that everyone still needs to learn, and that it doesn't stop anyone from being able to teach and aid others.
Canon Strength/Weaknesses: Strengths: She learns from her mistakes and she has made a lot of them already Multiple ways to do most things Magical Keyblade Technological nanotech Keyblade. Magical armor nanotech armor Mutant powers Magical powers Keyblade glider The knowledge how to make her nanotech Keyblade and armor and glider. Teaching Agility Combat skills Acrobatics Her strong heart. Seeing the good in others.
Weaknesses: Fear of heights that she still can't fully shake Sometimes being too brave for her own good in other areas Defining herself too much by her ability to help other people - to the extent where it got her killed. Stubborn. Part of her will always be unsure, part of her will always feel unworthy. And part of her will always worry about those who are not there where she can see them.
Apprentice Sorcerer Application Class: I think wither Princess or Mystic.
Princess is mostly because in her CRAU the ability she used most had been to healing. Also, looking at what Keyblades do in canon, that is kind of what princesses do here, just with creatures rather than hearts. Also in Institute she was a professor and in theory they all had to be ready willing and able lead teams.
Mystic would be because she constantly uses magic in canon and magic/mutant powers in CRAU without drawbacks. It is the mode she is used to operating in. And her being squishy... well she'll have to learn to accept help and healing from others after so many years of being the one to help and heal others.
Honestly, I'd like princess for her best. The darkness creeping on her could be a good flash back for her time in the Darkness, and healing os very very her. Plus honestly, given Mal I know that class bast and feel I can RP it better than the others.
Weapon: N/A Magic Style: Guessing mage = Mystic? If so, her item will be a Keyblade she'll make herself out of nanotech. And her style... I'm not sure how to pick one, so might need mod help. Element: N/A Prince/Princess: Focus through her Keyblade or other Nanotech devices.

Aqua stretched out. She had spent all day working on rebuilding her nanites. She extended a hand and felt them crawl out of her skin to form up in her hand. They created a new Keyblade. She smiled as she looked it over. It wasn't like any Keyblade she'd ever held before. It was like a mix between every Keyblade she'd ever had, her MAster's Keyblade, Ven's, and Terra's. It was a new Keyblade, for a new home.
She lifted it and focused the odd new magic of this world. As a mutant her Keyblade enhanced her powers. As someone with magic, her Keyblade was a focus. In the City, it was a combination of the two. In Shibuya she didn't have a Keyblade the first time, all her power was through pins. Then she had her Keyblade again...
Now she was faced with a new world that needed her help, a new Keyblade, and a new magic system to learn. And her Keyblade was how she was going to learn. She focused on the upraised blade, at the dangle that hung from it, two similar Wayfinders. She shifted her arm and felt them brush her face. She smiled, a tear running down her face. A tear born of longing, joy, and love.
"Terra. Ven. Link. Rhyme," she said, smiling as she whispered each name. "Our hearts are connected. My powers yours and you mine."
The words weren't a spell or ritual, but they were from her heart, and they filled it. And armed and armored by that warmth and love, she felt her magic respond. She took a deep breath as it filled her. It limed her Keyblade and her body. She have her wrist a few experimental twists and let the spell sink into the Keyblade itself. It would store her magic, and she could then use it to purify or heal. She can use it for whatever she needed. She was ready.
